2 cm dilated and a show

Hi ladies I'm
38 weeks had a sweep yesterday I am 2 cm dilated and favourable for labour, I've had a pinky brown show this morning and period pains which subsided after a bath and some painkillers. Has anyone had any success with a show and gone into labour after wards?

Me! I had sweep on Saturday evening at 5 and was 2cm and DD2 was born the following day at 5.30 in the evening. I was 40+8 though!
