I'm 16 years old and I'm 9 weeks pregnant. Currently in the hospital and they're sending me for a scan at some point today to confirm possible twins. I was admitted to hospital back in March (I was only around 3 weeks pregnant) but they were certain because of my HCG levels I was around 6-7 weeks. They sent me for a scan and they saw nothing other than two CL cysts, so they got worried and gave me a laparoscopy to see if I was ectopic. But no, I was just too early on they couldn't even see a sac. When I was 5+6 I went back and they saw one heart beat but they said the couldnt rule out twins.
I'm now back in hospital due to hyperemesis. Because of the high HCG levels and the severe sickness, plus the 2 CL cysts, they want to confirm it isn't twins. I'm nervous as its my first pregnancy, I don't really know what to expect!
My maternal sister was pregnant with twins but unfortunately miscarried. My paternal aunt was also pregnant with twins, but she lost one at birth. There are no other Non-IVF twins in the last few generations of my family.
Do you think I'm having twins?? :O
