I'm very very newly pregnant, my period isn't due until the weekend

I've got really strong cramping and it's driving me to worry Sad I know cramping is normal but this is so strong!

Has anyone else had it and all been ok? It really feels like I'm on the first day of my period!

Hi hun

Is this your first?
I can tell that with my first I was in soon much from cramps and thought something was wrong...and ended up having an early scan at about 5weeks but everything was fine...this is normal but if you are really worried call your GP in the morning and them what's going on

Good luck xxx

I had cramps that were like contractions with my first at around 7 weeks, I honestly was just waiting to start bleeding I was so sure it had all gone wrong but never did, had an early scan all fine and baby is now 4

Thanks both!

No it's not my first, it just feels like it does the first day of my period but obviously I've got no bleeding and I'm not even due my period until Sunday! Hopefully it's just implantation cramping!

Will see how it is tomorrow and think about going to the gp :)

Hi flossy- I'm 4 weeks today. I was due AF today but had a BFP on Monday. I have had terrible lower back ache and cramping, just like AF is looming. I also had a lighter pregnancy test yesterday so I'm pretty freaked. Had a mc last year. I've been knicker watching the last two days. No bleeding so far.

Hi thingy

I'm the same with knicker watching!! I also have backache! Hopefully it's a good sign. I've had a chemical recently so I'm really paranoid it's going to happen again. Just want to get to my period date and have a stronger bfp!

Such a worrying time x

Hi, I had this with my 2nd & 3rd/current pregnancies along with brown spotting and everything turned out to be fine, I didn't have it in my first pregnancy but I wonder if everything is just looser and sensitive after the first one. I went for early scans to put my mind at rest. Good luck and congratulations! x

Just to say I had REALLY painful cramping around 7DPO and some browny blood too - turned out to be implantation bleeding as I'm now pregnant but it felt exactly like bad, concentrated period pains.
