Wear a bra under a nursing vest? 19+4

So i am 19+4 today with #1. I have a couple of nursing vests (brought for me) which are really comfy with the support bit inside. I would quite like to wear them to work under a cardigan but without a bra my nipples show (chilly). Is it ridiculus to wear a bra underneath?? I dont really want to fork out on more tops

why would you not wear a bra with them

Ah they have secret support so i figured i didnt need to....this is another dumb new mum to be question isnt it....sigh

Do i figure now that when bf i have a nursing bra underneath the vest and unhook both? Crikey I'm stupid

People do wear those secret support vests without a bra. Otherwise what is the point of them?

OP, I'd say you can wear whatever you want. If you feel comfortable then it's fine. It's your underwear.

Wear what you like if you feel comfortable. I would personally wear one of those vests at home with no bra, but I wouldn't leave the house! I have pretty big boobs though and definitely need plenty of support

You're not stupid! Just find what works for you, bit of trial and error won't hurt

I'm 12 wks pregnant with my third and I can't remember if i should be getting nursing bras, maternity bras, bras without underwire, or just bigger normal bras at this point...

sorry OP- my reply was a bit blunt had a newborn baby attached to me whilst trying to get a 4 year old to get ready for bed!

for me those tops would never give enough support to go bra-less outside house let alone the nipple issue! would defo wear a bra under them if outside unless really padded and supportive

It's not really secret support though is it? It just stops your whole boob being exposed.

I wear those whilst pregnant all the time for sleeping and in the day too! I wear a bra in the day but not at home. Yes I will be wearing nursing bra with them and just unhook both. Not silly questions just stuff you don't really think about often. x
