The person who told me about them was spot on with mine but it is 50/50 so I'm not 100% convinced!!

Did you mean to attach a pic?

I'd guess girl but with my own turns out I was looking at the wrong bit!

Hopefully someone with a better eye will be along!

CherriesInTheSnow · 03/05/2017 14:04

Thanks Grin

I'm the same I'm not sure which bit I'm looking at, assumed the solid white line but I'm probably wrong!

If that line is anything to go by, then it does look a very similar shape and angle to my daughters 20 week scan which wasn't very long ago, so maybe? We are really happy either way though Halo

Hehe thanks Billy; I can't see a crazy amount of difference between the boy and girl nubs on the Internet! Bear

Can someone explain this theory to me or have a link pretty please? Smile

CherriesInTheSnow · 03/05/2017 17:09

Hi Polly :)

The nub theory is basically a supposed method of predicting baby's gender, which can be done with the dating scan (at around 12 weeks)

The theory is that although baby's genitals aren't fully formed yet, the tube that will eventually become the genitals looks different depending on the gender. Supposedly a girl nub will be at a lower angle in relation to the spine, and a boys will have a bigger angle, so it appears to point up more.

It's often used in conjunction with the "skull theory" which is based on skull shape, but I don't know much about this one! If you Google it, there are lots of handy pictures to compare to Easter Smile
