Pregnant with MS

Hi all,
This is my first post here. I'm now 8 weeks pregnant with our first, which is great news. I'm feeling a bit guilty but the combination of MS fatigue and first trimester tiredness is a struggle. I've heard MS symptoms actually improve during pregnancy so it should get better. However at the moment, I just feel tired and ill, and worried about coping at work. My partner is so excited, but I feel nothing at all. I find it hard to be excited and feeling a bit bad for that.
Just wanted to see if others had experienced similar.
Thanks all,
N

I don't have MS, but I still felt similar. Especially with my second because I knew second time round that the newborn stage is really hard so I was sick, exhausted, not sleeping well, and dreading the first few months of having the baby. So I was not excited at all. But! It did get better in the second trimester. And then I had my baby and the newborn stage was way easier than I feared. And now she's ten months and super amazing and so cute. But I never really got very excited about her before she arrived. Poor thing! She'll never know, though, and I didn't have any trouble bonding or anything like that. It's so hard to get excited when you're exhausted, bloated, weepy and nauseous all the time.

Hopefully you'll get lucky and have a great second trimester - with my son I felt AMAZING from 16 weeks on, almost slightly high - so calm and happy. Nothing stressed me out. I thought maybe I had grown as a person because I was creating life, but it wore off sadly. I enjoyed it while it lasted though. Hopefully you'll find the middle bit of pregnancy similar!
