Two Periods in Two Weeks?

My last period was supposed to be on April 8th and it came on April 13th. It lasted until the 16th, which is earlier than usual. Two weeks exactly since the 13th, on the 27th, I had another period. It is like a regular period. I've never had a period 2 weeks apart before, and I am nercous because this is the first time this has happened. Could anyone help me with this?

I've had this a couple of times over the last two years....I'm assuming it a sign of getting older but I'm 40 so if you are younger than say 35 then I would see your gp. Hth.

I'm 18. It just makes me nervous because this has never happened before. Could it beba sign of pregnancy?
