Methotrexate injection

Hello,

I think I am going to need one of these in the next few days as my numbers are slowly rising and not doubling

Anyone had any experience or advice with this type of "management"

I had this in October due to ectopic. Was 7 weeks when I had it. Very few side effects, just a bit nauseous for the first day. They measure HCG after a few days and then after a week (I think). Apparently it's normal for it to increase after the first test but it should drop by the second. I had just the one injection and periods went back to normal after 4 weeks and conceived again after 3 months. All seems fine this time round, currently 16 weeks but the first few weeks were v stressful with the thought it could be ectopic again

This will be my 3rd miscarriage this year, it's be a very hard time.

I can cope with not trying for 3 months but I'm worried if I need a second shot then got to wait for 6 months to try.
