Help! Lighter pregnancy tests

I took a FR test yesterday CD26 which was quite strong BFP (afternoon pee, not drunk much in morning). Took another today and it's much lighter (morning pee but not my first pee of morning as I get up throughout night to pee and I drink water by my bed). Freaked out, I took another test 2 hours later. Also lighter. Not significantly lighter but still....
Should I be worried?! So worried about miscarriage as had one last year.
No bleeding, still feel pregnant. Please help!

Af isn't even due yet so hcg still variable!! Stop worrying!!
Congratulations!!
Test when she is a week late!!

Really, I thought they were suppose to double...
Are these tests reliable indicator of hcg amount?!

How can you visualise colour 'doubling'?

The actual blood levels will

But a line is a line- my first was certainly a squinter but darker a couple of days later, certainly never did more than one on a day. Maybe 3 total. Now 31 weeks

I don't think there's cause for concern. You tested at different times of the way, with different concentrations. Congrats OP.

My tests were always stronger in the afternoon, not sure why but I wee a lot in the night so that could be it! I tested a lot with this pregnancy following 2 miscarriages and I had days when the test was lighter and I was convinced it was a miscarriage. I'm 32 weeks now, so while logically I can see why you'd expect the test to get darker every day they don't always. If you want to compare tests (and it nearly drove me mad so I don't recommend it) then you need to make sure you are using the exact same test, same time of day, same amount of time you've held urine and same amount you've drank though out the day, even then there might be some variation. Good luck, I hope it's all okay.

Thanks so much for your replies. I feel a bit reassured. I am not going to test until Friday again so I'll let you know

How was your test, OP?
