38+4

Saw the midwife who had told me to go to hospital. Have lower abdominal pain, lower back pain (that's not too strong yet though), and she said my cervix was thinning out? She said about 1-2 cm dilated, but I don't know whether to get excited or not??Sad

Might be the start of things, but sounds like very early stages so I really wouldn't be going into hospital just yet if I were you, they're likely to send you home again. Strange that the midwife would suggest it so early. How regular is the pain?

(Bit jealous as I'm 38+3 and not a single niggle here, boo!)

I haven't left yet but the hospital is two hours away, so maybe that's why she said leave soon? Sad

Crikey, that's really far to go. Quite possibly why she's told you to go in - worth calling the hospital to see what they say as well.

Good luck Smile
