I was due to get induced yesterday because of chronic back issues but it was cancelled as the unit was so busy. The midwife instead gave me a second sweep (I had one on Monday) which showed I was dilated by 1-2cm and she managed to complete the sweep successfully.
I'm due to go back in on Saturday for induction but since the sweep, I've been having tightenings every 30 minutes or so (but I managed to sleep a few hours), lower back and abdominal period type pains and have had quite an upset tummy (sorry TMI)
Am I reading too much into just regular symptoms at 38+4 weeks or could this be prelabour?
