Period or pregnant? After childbirth

I've got a 9 week old baby and I've had the faintest faintest line on a test! I've had a miscarriage in the past so I'm not allowing myself to believe it. But the problem is I'm still expecting my second period but I've no idea when to even expect it! I don't even know when to test or even when I ovulated! How would I work this all out? Feeling very confused and I'll be heartbroken it's a false positive and just left over hormone or something. Does anybody have any ideas?

On your question, I can only say that I was still getting positive tests up to 10 weeks after my second miscarriage BUT you could also definitely be pregnant within that time frame. Keep testing I guess, if the lines get stronger then you will know. Or go to your gp.
