39 weeks stomach cramps any help,

hi all,
im 39 weeks pregnant and have had period type cramps since early hours this morning
they arent very painful but i notice they are there,
had a clear show about 2 weeks ago but nothing since,
any advice would be grateful,

it could be labour (but may just be braxton hicks - practice contractions) theres no way to know except wait

run yourself a bath, or take a walk to the shops,

and if they are worse in a few hours get your hospital bag ready and ring your midwife

sounds like could be the onset of early labour - I would speak to midwife or pop to your local maternity unit for a check up to put your mind at rest. Good luck
