Had my 16wk check up yesterday and urine showed +1 for sugar so I'm off next week to hospital for the glucose tolerance test. Reading online it's not normally done until 24 to 26 weeks and I'll only be 17 weeks. Worrying now Sad

I was tested at 16 weeks due to having gestational diabetes with my first. It didn't show up at 16 weeks so then I had to have another test at 28 weeks and that's when I unfortunately got it again.

I was tested at 13 weeks as my glucose came up +++. That was negative and I just had a second at 26 weeks, also negative. Having a raised glucose level doesn't always result in GD so try not to worry too much.

I was tested fairly early on as my bmi was high, it's nothing to worry about :)

I had sugar show up in my urine a few times during my pregnancy, had the glucose test and it came back fine
