pregnancy test at the gp

Done numerous pregnancy tests, all negative, I am sure I am pregnant, 7 days late now. Is there a test the gp can do to confirm the pregnancy? How early will a gp be willing to do a test? Don't want to spend more money on pregnancy tests.....they cost a fortune....

Gp's PG tests are the same as normal HPT's. The only tests that will be able to detect faster is a blood test.

I was 9 days late once and thought I was pregnant but even the gynocologist couldn't see anything - said we would have to wait another week 'till she could say. I wasn't pregnant I was just late (stress).

Oh, that was quick. I used Clearblue which is not the most sensitive of tests, was hoping that the gp would have something more sensitive...I guess I will go when I am 12 days late. I WANT TO KNOWWWWW.

Really? Ohhh, I would be shocked if it turned out to be a phantom pregnancy. I know we had sex at the right time, could my mind be creating this? Never been late in my life, have all the symptoms, feel full of very nice chemicals.

if your 7 days late and getting negatives i would think you wernt pregnant, sorry xx

i was told i was late because i was stressing over getting pregnant, i was convinced i was pregnant because we had used OPKs, and i couldnt understand why i wasnt pregnant,

we just had to wait almost 3 months till my period came then tried again, and ive got a 9 month old son now,

it doesnt sound to me like you are pregnant but just relax, wait for your AF and try again,
