Who got pregnant from sex once in FW?

Anyone get pregnant from sex once in FW?

I decided to take a relaxed cycle and quit OPK, temping an delete my app. I thought I'll go off bodily signs that will be easy. Normally get EWCM for few days so I'll know.

Well I only got EWCM for 2 days tops. And we only had sex once the first day I saw it. . The next day i had weird back ache. Now realised it was ovulation pain I think. As now my boobs are fuller after ovulation like they always are. And checked my temp an it's at it's raised post ovulation temperature. Dammit.

So yeh...DTD once the day before ovulation. Who fell pregnant that way? I know theres still a fair good chance. But bit gutted we didn't get another go in at least. Well only other one was 5 days before ovulation but think that ones got no chance tbh lol.

We've tried every day. Every other day or a fair few months. An none of them have worked either an got all a bit stressful. But my relaxed approach has bitten me in the bum a bit. We should of DTD every other day but we missed the middle one out! Argh!!

We did the dtd 4 days before I ovulated we were not ttc (whoops) we have a 2 year old now Grin

Four days before ovulation for us. We were ttc but dp was going away with work after this so it was our last chance that cycle. Now 21 weeks pg with a little boy. It was our first month of trying.

That is basically what happened to us. 8 months of TTC and it was very stressful with tracking etc. We had a bit of an argument so only had sex once the cycle I got pregnant. Wasnt at peak ovulation time and I waited until I was 3 days late before testing as we were certain it couldnt happen that month. Am now 27 weeks pregnant. So it can happen, fingers crossed for you.

Once on the first day of FW and once at the last. Dating scan says I conceived on the first, go figure?? Our bodies are weird and wonderful things. Sounds like you've covered yourself by dtd on the first day of ewcm so you've every chance, good luck!

Dd 10+11 we dtd once in the whole cycle on day 23 both times. ...
Ds dtd twice in the month but not fw (we moved and forgot to dtd!)

Did it once in a 3 week timescale, had no idea when ovulation was coming (had had weird, barely there period the previous month) - she is 1 next week! Grin

Yes! I'm 14 weeks now and we only had sex on the one day I noticed ewcm. I totally didn't think it would happen as the couple of months previously had had sex a lot more during fw. I may have helped that I put my legs in the air as soon as he went to shower Blush

The first month I tried the "relaxed" approach was the month I got pregnant, I too didn't check any of my apps at all, I didn't check cm or anything and like you due to one thing and another we only got chance to do it once in the whole month !!! I will be 30 weeks on Tuesday. I'll also add I was getting ewcm a full week after I actually conceived (if I've worked things out correctly etc) good luck !!!

Me! Had spent a few months dtd at every chance, especially August when we were both off work! ;) In September I clearly remember messaging my dh if we don't dtd today we will have missed the window this month... quickie before he went on night shift. I'm 8 months pregnant on Wednesday :)

It's happened twice to me, both in the first month of trying (well...second baby was sort of a few months ahead of when we were going to start trying. Blame the first night away from our eldest Smile). So it definitely can happen!

Ooo me me!! We only did it once in FW and pretty much as Ov happened according to OPKs and 13 weeks now!

Have you tried a Clearblue Ovulation Kit with the smiley face thing?

After six months of trying and fiddling about with OPKs etc this worked for me first time out.

Me! We did it once 2 days before ovulation and I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant.

Yep, me too. Dtd once, got static smiley the next day but we were both away for 3 days so wrote the month off. Currently pregnant!

DP works away all week so we have to go for it the nearest weekend to ovulation. Only managed to dtd once in the whole of Feb & now 10 weeks pregnant. BFP was so unexpected as I thought there was no way it would have been the right time.

DH was on nights and ill during FW. We DTD 3 days after a positive OPK, currently 37 weeks pregnant. Good luck!

Oh wow so many of you! This is amazing. Goes to show actually that anything goes. Deffo not counting myself out then as I am very much in for a chance. FX for lucky month #6. we know we can fall pregnant as we did first time but sadly had a mc. So just patiently waiting to fall again.

@TheLegendOfBeans - not tried clearblue ovulation kit yet. Only cheap OPKs. But have heard good things. Think I will give that a go next month if no luck!

When my Clearblue was showing rising LH (flashey smiley) and peak fertility (static smiley) the cheap OPKs I'd been using showed precisely fuck all.

Ps: from your last post I'm guessing your story is similar to mine. Seriously, spend the dosh on a CB and I wish you the best (I'm 14w pg now) x

I did. We dtd the day I got my positive (cheapo) opk and planned to do it for another couple of days but life got in the way. Fortunately it didn't matter and we still got a bfp. It can happen Smile

I found the cheapo opks didn't work unless I didn't pee on them until the afternoons, when I'd been holding it for a few hours. When I mastered that they were v clear.

Me. Had been tracking my periods after i came off the pill ready to conceive maybe about this time/this summer. Had sex one in what would have been my fertile week according to ovia, not really thinking it would happen and bang. 22 weeks pregnant today. Grin

I think more people fall from having sex once in FW then people realise actually!

@TheLegendOfBeans oh I know it's so annoying isn't it. How can you fall so quickly and then it doesn't seem to want to happen? It's all about relaxing and nothing stressing but easier said than done. I wanted it a year ago! So if it could hurry the fuck up that would be nice.

Yes for first child. Second child used the kits from second month, got a smiley face and that sealed the deal.
