31weeks, a 'pop', light cramps, back ache. Do I call?

After advice really. I am 31+ weeks pregnant and have pgp and gd. Past few nights from around 5pm I have had light cramps in my stomach. Baby has been moving still. Yesterday I wiped after the loo and there was what can only be described as thick translucent snot on the tissue. today, baby is still moving but I have had the cramps all day and walking around the supermarket earlier I felt a 'pop' and started to get the occasional sharp pain in my lower bump. Came home, ended up dropping to sleep on the sofa for an hour, have a headache, lower back ache and very uncomfortable in my bump, again light cramping. Is this normal? Or should I call someone?

I would do, I had cramps and "snot" at 30 weeks. When I went to the hospital I was 8cm dilated

Yes, you're worried so definitely phone the assessment unit for advice! They'll reassure you if appropriate or ask you to go in to be checked, but better to get advice from the proper people ☺ xx

WowserBowser · 22/04/2017 18:14

Yes, I'd definitely call

WellieWanger · 22/04/2017 18:19

OK. Thank you. Hate to feel I am wasting time. I know you get aches and pains in pregnancy as growing a person in your body is not comfortable. I will put DC to bed then find someone to call

My plug looked exactly like snot so I agree that being checked over would be prudent.

SimplyPut · 22/04/2017 18:25

Good luck, its always better to have things checked out.

haveacupoftea · 22/04/2017 19:35

Yep best to get checked. Good luck

purplehonesty · 22/04/2017 19:36

Good luck let's hope it's nothing to worry about

Currently being monitored but cervix shut. Thankful for that. It's thought the pain is pgp related so got to start taking codeine. Something in my pee which will be highlighted to diabetic team. Thanks for support.

Glad you're ok, OP. Remember, you are never wasting a midwife's time if anything worries you.

AntiHop · 22/04/2017 21:11

I agree with Mrschooper Flowers

RandomMess · 22/04/2017 21:11
