So I've been off the pill one month, due my period today. Been ttc this last month.

I went to Sainsbury's today and just got 2 of the Sainsbury's own brand tests for £3.50. I felt the need to really. Usually before my period is due I get very sore boobs but they are fine. No soreness. Also I've had slight nausea the last 2 mornings so I wondered if I should try.

First one didn't work as I don't think I weed on it enough.

Tried again an hour later and the faintest of the faintest of the faintest line came up. Like it's there but you really have to look hard to see it.

I did not expect to get pregnant this early so I'm very much in shock. A line is a line isn't it? No matter how faint it is?

Also this is my 3rd pregnancy, 2 previous c sections. My last c section will be 6 years ago when the baby is born. Should I expect an elective section or will there be a chance of natural delivery?

I also suffer from hyperemis - my last pregnancy was especially bad - so I'm pretty nervous about what's to come.

Just oh my god..:.didnt actually expect to get pregnant lol

Also, I did the test about 40 mins ago and the pregnancy line has now pretty much disappeared, even though it was there to start with. Is this normal?

I will, and I'll buy a more expensive one. My partner is literally jumping for joy so it's going to be awful if it's a false alarm x

Can anyone else judge what they think from the picture?

I don't think it's even that feint - not what I would consider a squinter by any stretch.

user1492... - I think that test is a dud and invalid. Try another. Pink dye tests are better x

Faulty test user1492...

To be fair I used Sainsbury's ones about 2 or 3 of them as they were so faint! Then I took a clear blue one and it said Pregnant 2-3 Weeks! Now 13+3 Weeks Pregnant 😁

So if you still haven't come on by end of week I suggest going to a digital one, least then you will have a definite yes/no answer :) good luck! Xx

SaltedCaramelEverything · 20/04/2017 14:36

It's hard to know at this time of day - first morning wee is the best! Should hopefully give u a stronger line. So get some tests ready to go tomorrow morning. Some people on here say the pink lines ones are better? I think. I would just recommend trying 2 different plans.

Keep us posted!! Good luck

NotAnotherUserName5 · 20/04/2017 14:39

Get some first response ones. Blue dye ones aren't great.

I do see the line, so fingers crossed it's a bfp (looks promising to me)

Awesome! CONGRATS :)

user1491403410 · 20/04/2017 16:46

Thank you so much, I cannot believe it. I'm just sat stuffing my face with a Big Mac in my car with my kids...no point dieting now lol. Just worked out my due date which will be December 28th but I'm guessing it will be elective c section so fingers crossed will be born around the 21st if it's still 39 weeks.

I cannot believe there is a baby in there :-)

Thank you everyone xx
