Good Morning Ladies, I thought I would start a post for all out October babies, as I couldn't see one. I thought it would be nice to share stories, worries, positive vibes and help each other along our Journey.
Have you all had your dating scan, or has it been delayed due to the easter break like mine?
I have mine tomorrow and must say I am extremely nervous, as I want to take DD who is 6 along for the reveal. Has anyone else done this? X

I'm due in October too. Had a bit of bleeding and therefore had an early scan at 9weeks. Saw a little bean - but my actual dating scan is on Friday and I am still worried due to my age (36)! When I booked the scan I was told I could bring my 4 year old DS along to the scan. I'm sure you will be fine - it's natural to be a little worried!

I had my scan last week and had no choice but to take my dd if my husband was going to be able to come too. She didn't actually want to go in the room to begin with so she sat outside with her dad while the sonographer checked everything was ok then it was actually the sonographer who sent his assistant out to convince her to come in and see "inside mummy's tummy". It was a lovely way for her to find out but the sonographer at our hospital is absolutely brilliant.

I'm also due in October.

I don't wish to put a downer on this thread but please be careful with taking children along to scans or important appointments. I had very bad news indeed at a scan during my last pregnancy and my young son was there to witness/hear it all. It was very confusing for him.

Thank you for your views, and posts, Congratulations to you all too. I had a private scan at 8 weeks to help put my mind at ease and all was fine. My mum is coming along to sit with DD in the waiting room whilst we go in for the all clear.

I am due my first baby on October 15th very excited! Managed to get pregnant the month after coming off the pill. Had some bleeding so had 3 scans before my dating scan and everything was fine :) I have booked a private dating scan for when I'm 17 weeks so not long xx

Hi all, just to second that if you head to the Ante-natal Clubs board there's a thread for October babies so we don't clog the pregnancy board up! 😊 Lots of us there and so supportive when you're all going through similar things! X

October17baby you sound as impatient as me lol, i had my private scan at 18 week, my dating scan tomorrow then once I know all is ok ill be booking my 16+ private gender scan 😊 Because DD was a small Gestational Age, I am classed as high risk so will be having 2weekly scans from 21 week, more chances to see baby 🙌🏻
Is anyone else feeling the dizzy low blood pressure stage yet, I had it with DD and its hot this week, apparently its common to hit between 12 week and 24 week x

Im due oct 3rd so am officially 16 weeks and just found out its a boy off a private scan!! 😆 congrats all x

Congratulations everyone. I'm due October 7th and have got a private scan booked for this week to find out the gender of the baby, I really can't wait to find out!

I have my dating scan today, and panicking like crazy. I had a private scan at 8 weeks and was given a due date of 27th October, ive a feeling today is going to be a looooong day x

There is a October 2017 baby thread in the anti natal boards! It's been going for a while. Lots of useful advice on there.

Ok so DD is asking many questions and wants to know how the baby comes out, any ideas on what to tell a 6year old? X
