I wonder if anyone could guess at what sex my baby might be from the 12 week scan (they dated it as 11+4 if that makes any difference as to whether it's possible to tell).

I'm so happy I can finally post on Mumsnet! Long time lurker, finally expecting ❤

From skull shape I would say boy!

Ah, I didn't even know that skull shape came into it! Thanks, that's interesting! I read about the nub theory but I can't even work out which part of my scan is the "nub"!! Can't wait to have it confirmed (I'll be happy either way but am excited to know!)

You can't really see the nub in this picture. Skull shape I think is more accurate because you can see in any photo. Girl's skulls are very round, almost balloon shaped on the forehead, whereas boys are not as curved. I've not been wrong yet, but only time will tell whether you'll have a girl or a boy. Best wishes for your pregnancy!

Oh I hope so! Would love a little girl. Someone else said to me a boy cause of the nub but I'm not sure what they have marked as the nub actually is!
