Just found out I'm pregnant and can't stop smiling

Just that really. I've had a lot of conversations recently about having children and wasn't sure how I felt, conflicts between wanting children and various worries about being a mum. Did test this morning and just started bouncing around with a big grin on my face when I saw result, feels like I've figured out how I really feel about it. Wanted to share somewhere because only DH knows in RL and I want to shout it from the rooftops.

Congratulations! When do think you are due?
Exciting times! Smile

prettygirlincrimsonrose · 13/04/2017 09:44

Not sure. What I thought was last period might have been implantation bleed so either mid-November or mid-December. Got first appointment with midwife in a couple of weeks so I'll find out more then.

I have an early December baby. Was a lovely time of year to have a baby (not too big in the summer time was a plus too!)
How lovely!

What lovely news Flowers

prettygirlincrimsonrose · 13/04/2017 12:04

I'm February and brothers July - I remember mum saying it was horrible being heavily pregnant in the summer (and heavily pregnant when it's icy wasn't great either!)

I got my BFP yesterday too, after over a year of trying. I don't think I've come down yet! Grin

I have an end of November baby, it's was sooo lovely having a tiny newborn at Christmas. Congratulations! 🎉👍🌹

TheFirstMrsDV · 13/04/2017 21:05

Three of mine are winter babies. Its much easier to dress for cold weather when you are big (as long as you can find a coat) plus you don't tend to feel the cold as much Smile

Congratulations.

Fantastic! Smile. I remember finding out I was pregnant with DTDs (a lovely surprise) and having such a warm glow of happiness

AHedgehogCanNeverBeBuggered · 14/04/2017 12:44

How lovely! Aah, you've made me well up remembering how it felt to get that BFP (although at 23 weeks pg pretty much everything makes me weep!). Congratulations!

I'm in a similar situation, just found out yesterday and am soooo thrilled. Want to tell everybody. Can't wait for the first scan already

prettygirlincrimsonrose · 26/04/2017 09:10

Congratulations MW2018
Really want to tell people too, spent weekend with brother and I wonder if he guessed from me not drinking. Seeing midwife on Friday so hopefully will get date for a scan, do you know when yours is?

No I literally just found out yesterday morning and did another test this morning to confirm as it was our first month trying so surprised it was so quick and soooo happy. I was expecting a 6-12month wait :-)
I am still literally at the 'what do I do stage' so need to get my self referral form filled and then get apts etc.
I have two christenings and a wedding in the next 8 weeks so will need to come up with some bright excuses around not drinking so people don't guess. Best of luck on Friday
