Hi,

I'm really worried about something that has just happened to me and need to advice/reassurance. I am 7+1 weeks pregant. My neighbour is in the middle of doing and extension and have recently moved out of the house whilst the builders knock through and make it more habitable etc. I noticed she was there and I had to go around and ask a question about something about the building work. She spoke to me outside and then went inside to find the builder and beckoned me in to speak to him. It seems really dusty and the fumes where strong in there (not sure what they were) with no ventilation except for the front door open. I was trying not to breathe as much and was in there about 5 minutes or so but now worried I have done some damage to my baby. I was only in there a short period of time but not sure if I am overreacting or not? Sorry for the essay!

Yeah, you're overreacting. You breathe in more shit walking along a main road or sitting in traffic. I know early pregnancy can be a bit stressful, but you'll be fine.

Definitely over thinking it.

You will breathe in worse stuff walking down a main road full of vehicles.

Thank you, sometimes it's good to hear people saying you're overreacting even know you know yourself!
