I fell asleep again this morning, still feeling really tired, anyway when i woke up, I had like a niggy period cramp across the whole front of my stomach, not one sided, (i had an Ectopic pregnacy in jan.) and its gone now. I remember getting pregnancy pains with my previous pregnancies but can't remember what they feel like (its been 6 years since I last had a baby) Is this just pregnancy pain?

Hi Sparkly, I had these pains with all my pregnancies, it does just feel like mild period pains. I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck

thats what this is like, I remember having really bad pain with DS (though it proprably wasn't actually that bad, first baby lol) and being told that it was my womb stretching.

Do you think that I should mention it when I go to my GP next week? I have to be referred to the EPU because of the Ectopic, so I should get a scan next week, but just wondering if they will laugh at me, if its just pregnancy pain...

Sparky.
Please mention it to the doc if you're worried.
I've had the same crampy feelings you describe, and also some light pinky browny red bleeding, so I was a bag of nerves.
Doc sent me for an internal scan at the EPU and everything is fine. Baby measured 7+4 and had a good heartbeat.
Good luck.

I am 5+3 at the moment and have been having perod like pains all day. Also a headache.
I seem to remember something similar with ds who is now 3.5.
By all means mention it to your GP, but several women friends of mine have reported similar pains early on too.
