How early did you feel baby move?

I'm pregnant with baby number 3. With DS1 I felt him move when I was 16 weeks, I can't really remember with DS2. I'm 12 weeks and think I've felt what are like very faint little bubbles popping. Don't think it was wind maybe I'm wrong! Or going mad

What's the earliest anyone has felt anything??

16 weeks for DS and 14 weeks for DD

DimpledThighs · 09/03/2007 12:47

the more times you have been pregnant the better you are at working out what is movement and what is your body doing body stuff.

I think you felt it earlier because you know what you are looking for.

Hopeitwontbebig · 09/03/2007 12:48

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay I'm not mad then

I didn't say you weren't mad I just said you had felt your baby. You could be barking for all I know

im pregnant with baby no 2 (39 weeks) i felt this one move around 14-15 weeks but my first was around 16 weeks,

I remember feeling it really early too like a little flutter (butterfly wings)

Mossie · 12/03/2007 00:11

I didn't feel him move until about week 23! But at my 19-week scan the sonographer told me my placenta was anterior (round the front) so it would be a while before I felt him.

recoveringmum · 12/03/2007 00:15

i had a perfectly normal first pregnancy and didnt feel baby move until week 26 or 27. when my friend who was in the same week as me was saying do you have the feeling like there is something in a sack of water moving around inside you? i said no. and i waited 10 weeks to feel it. i was worried but all was fine. maybe you ahve great tummy muscles

BabyMadwithBump · 12/03/2007 11:38

DS#1 17/18 weeks.
DS#2 16 weeks (DH said he felt him at 13wks).
This LO 15 weeks.

Miaou · 12/03/2007 11:41

15 weeks with this one (my fourth). I would have thought it was unlikely you would be able to feel anything at 12 weeks.

doggus · 14/03/2007 00:29

It's my first.....bubbles at 18 weeks, and proper movement at 21 weeks.

EdieMcredie · 14/03/2007 08:42

Im 14 weeks and this is my first. For the past two nights I have felt what I can only describe as a twitching/bubbling feeling but it can't be felt by anyone putting their hand on bump, just me. I wonder if this is something? Ive never felt it before...

Hopeitwontbebig · 14/03/2007 09:23

Eddie, could be could be!!! My first, I felt a definite kick at 16 weeks, so you could be feeling flutterings earlier. I'm the same, bit earlier, and feel 'bubbles popping' but can't feel it when I put my hand there. Exciting isn't it!!!!

It probably is. With my first I didnt feel anything till 22 weeks, this time I felt v. early, probably earlier than yours

EdieMcredie · 14/03/2007 10:33

Great

I was gonna agree with you on our ante natal thread about C3's, I had one and it was awful!

Biglips · 14/03/2007 10:34

i didnt feel anything til iwas 22 week pg...just right next to my belly button on my right hand side

Hopeitwontbebig · 14/03/2007 12:18

Edie, I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a bad C3, mine was def a 'Friday afternoon' one. They hadn't even whelded the roof on properly, everytime I changed gear the metal would clonk!!!!! Also entire central console used to move when I changed gear!! Needless to say I got rid asap!

I may be slightly insane, but we're thinking about getting the new C4 Picasso, had good reviews, just not sure whether to gamble with a Citroen again

EdieMcredie · 15/03/2007 08:51

Its funny you should say that as I now have a C1!! (Obviously bought before I knew I was pg) although the isofix is handy.

Yes my C3 just felt awful to drive, really clonky. My C1 is fine though...

Hopeitwontbebig · 15/03/2007 09:19

It's good to know that you still trust Citroen Edie. Think we'll go ahead with the C4 Picasso, even thought they're enormous! This thread has kind of digressed hasn't it!!
