When was your first born?

Currently 36weeks and have been told by most that first timers go over. Would just be nice to hear of when your first babies made an appearance.

Due date

First was born on her due date but only because I was induced a couple of days before (low amniotic fluid)

Second was 11 days late, again induced

First was 35 weeks due to pre-eclampsia.
Second was 37 weeks spontaneous labour.

10 days early :) even tho midwife said I'd be about 41 weeks just 2 days before!

37 weeks.

I'm sure I've read that your monthly cycle makes a difference. For instance, if you have a regular 28 day cycle then 37 weeks is likely to be full term for you, whereas if you have a 31/32 day cycle you're more likely to reach 40 weeks. I like the theory but I'm not sure how much credence I give it!

First was 1 week over dye, second on due date, this one 2 days over now.

Well on my notes it's 39+1 but I know when we conceived and so she was actually 40+1, they adjusted her dates after a scan but I was puking from the point of the sperm hitting the egg practically so I knew they were wrong.

I was so do so convinced I was going over that I ignored all the signs (ds engaged early, very low in my pelvis). He came at 39+5. I had worked till 38+2!!!

40+5. My second was 40+6 so I was completely unprepared when the third arrived 8 days early as I thought I still had a couple of weeks.

On her due date. Apparently that's unusual - about 5% are born on the due date.
