Second baby and I have had all the 'unique' ones this time. Including...

My nose has grown
Skin tag
A pregnancy 'tumour' on my gum

Last time I swelled up like a ballon around this point (38 weeks), so waiting for that one too. Attractive! Confused

I had to get an antibiotic nasal cream called Naseptin from the GP for my scabby bogeys inside nose. Cleared it up overnight. Magic stuff.

Some of these are petty random!!! Thanks for sharing.. I am feeling more normal with my lump gum, skin tag, blocked nose and general swelling!!!!

I had a desperate craving to chew on a soaking wet toothbrush.

bingandabong · 17/04/2017 19:33

I was so thirsty I couldn't stop drinking ( and peeing constantly) also i came out In little red spots that looked like burst blood vessels on my chest and two on my cheek, completely disappeared once DS was born.
However since having my son two years ago, it seems to have cured the terrible migraines I had suffered with for years

Slothlikesundays · 17/04/2017 19:42

I got the giggles a lot in my third trimester. Things were just hilarious and I laughed for a good 40 minutes once much to everyone else's bemusement as nothing I laughed at was actually funny at all.

Supersmith · 17/04/2017 20:14

My teeth feel sharper, I keep biting my lips and making them bleed.
Intense craving for orange juice. Has to be fresh.
I'm sneezing a lot more than usual as well and I have no hayfever issues and I'm not coming down with anything.

GrumpySausage · 17/04/2017 20:20

Oh @norbert23 I had the super sore ears too! Drove me mad. Unfortunately for me it never completely went away after DS1 was born. I still get it at least once a week 😞

Weird but good- I've always had a persistent eczema patch on my foot- it went and never came back, yay.

ellesbellesxxx · 17/04/2017 21:26

Wow pregnancy is crazy isn't it?

For me:

Heart thundering.. mostly when lying down, it's like it is thudding the bed?!

Discharge 😳 Urgh.

Incontinence 😳😳😳

Still lose hair though.. I thought that it was supposed to stay in and be all luscious?

Fifilafrog · 17/04/2017 22:58

I love tomatoes and that didn't change in pregnancy but what did happen was that eating a tomato, within seconds, would lead to a feeling as though someone had slashed my tongue with a razor and poured vinegar on it. Unbelievably painful?!

Really fancied brocoli and sausages but both would then make feel sick 😕

Weird pregnancy tumor thing on my forehead that was like the rubber in the end of a pencil that would randomly bleed at the slightest touch and I mean, literally pour with blood like all down my face and neck and soak a t-shirt type bleeding!!

Hideous constipation too.

I looked fab though, skin was fabulous, as was hair until it fell out in handfuls after birth 😕

DirtyDancing · 18/04/2017 22:35

Frog the tomato thing is wired! Like you became allergic to them..! I have a preggo tumour on my gum. Bleeds a lot! It's suddenly gone down slightly now I'm 39 weeks. Strange!

Eveninties: thank you so much for your post. Never even occurred to me that I could have a nose infection, but I mentioned it to my GP last week and got the magic naseptin cream and the gross smelly crusty bloody bogies I have had for the last 15-20 weeks are no more! I have so many other minor discomforts that losing this one has really cheered me up.

mrsbumblebees · 19/04/2017 19:57

Does anyone else have ears that won't 'pop'? It comes and goes, and is quite often just one ear! Not painful at all but very annoying - it feels like being on a plane or underwater and I yawn and swallow to try and clear it but it just won't pop properly! Feel like I'm going a bit deaf, its driving me mad!

Oh, and spots - so many spots! My skin hasn't been this bad since I was a teenager!

DryHeave · 19/04/2017 20:39

I'm freezing cold. End up shivering and having to layer right up. I'm usually incredibly warm blooded! Have had to sleep with my socks on, which I wouldn't usually even consider in the depths of winter.

Lovelise · 20/04/2017 10:54

I'm experiencing quite a lot of these things in some form but I'll raise you 'Eczema on Nipples'

Only during pregnancy do I experience this joy. It's damned itchy!

Lovelise · 20/04/2017 11:07

And cold sores! How could I forget those little beauties!

someblondegirl · 20/04/2017 15:01

This thread has been a revelation! So many of these things I've noticed but never thought was a "normal" side effect! Amazing!

I've got the:
Skin tags
Swollen legs
Massive poos
Thundering heartbeat sound in my head
CELLULITE! Oh my god the bloody cellulite! I've never really had any before but now my legs are covered in it! No one else has mentioned this that I noticed Confused please someone, reassure me it goes!

pennysays · 20/04/2017 15:45

The most stinky urine ever. Unbelievable. Blocked nose. Tension headaches that wouldn't go away. Dry itchy skin. Horrible thin and split nails. Body hair!

pennysays · 20/04/2017 15:46

Oh and a near permanent cold in my first trimester.

JonSnowsWhore · 20/04/2017 16:34

Dribbling at night has become a new thing...

IAmALionTamer · 20/04/2017 16:47

This thread definitely makes me feel less of a freak.
I've been dealing with:
Stuffy, scabby nose
Massive poops
Dribbling at night
Piles Angry
