Second baby and I have had all the 'unique' ones this time. Including...

My nose has grown
Skin tag
A pregnancy 'tumour' on my gum

Last time I swelled up like a ballon around this point (38 weeks), so waiting for that one too. Attractive! Confused

Skin tags and verrucas over here Hmm.
Also yes to constant bloody bogies (but no nose bleeds this time thankfully).
Nails and hair doing 'ok' but not brilliant.
Round ligament pain really pissing me off.
Placenta is round the back this time so constantly feeling beaten up (was a nice cushion at the front last time - genuinely can't believe the difference).
11 days until c section...can't fecking wait!

HLBug · 07/04/2017 23:45

Oh and acid reflux causing me to throw up in my sleep- then wake up basically swallowing it back down again.
And yes also to fuck all pelvic floor control and constant threat of thrush as a result of all the pads.

JonSnowsWhore · 07/04/2017 23:51

Eurgh yes the reflux throwing up & swallowing. I do it when I'm bloody awake, it's vile

TeaAndCake · 08/04/2017 11:59

Excessive ear wax
Excessive hair growth (everywhere)
Excessive saliva production usually overnight
Constant metallic taste in mouth
Thrush under boobs

Apart from the above I had lovely easy pregnancies.

theheatherjane1 · 08/04/2017 16:04

I'm also in team Crusty Bloody Nose.

Plus I have a random excruciating pain that shoots up from the left side of my groin straight to my left boob, causing me to gasp and grab groin and then gasp a second later and grab boob.
I'll not have any friends left if this keeps up.

ADuckNamedSplash · 08/04/2017 16:24

Sneezing a lot! Kept thinking I was getting cold - eventually realised it was my new normal.

DirtyDancing · 08/04/2017 17:11

Can't believe how many excess saliva problems there are! Never heard of that preggo sympotom before.

I should add to my list: varicose veins and Sinusitis.

My unusual ones so far have been excessive earwax (lovely!) and I can't look at mess! For example if there are dishes on the side I can't look at them without heaving, even if they're fairly clean! I normally love doing the dishes!

Cagliostro · 08/04/2017 17:30

outbreaks of macdonalds :o love it

Mine is morning sickness related so in that sense not that unusual, but it's that reading makes me feel really sick. I have abandoned both my paperbacks and my kindle because I can't stomach it. Confused

LondonSkylar · 08/04/2017 18:43

ADuckNamedSplash Me too! Sneezing all the time Smile

rhodes2015 · 08/04/2017 18:57

Same as hopsalong with the crusty bloody nose.... it's also painful to breath up it but only when I'm in bed for some reason?!

DirtyDancing · 08/04/2017 21:12

My nose is always blocked and worse at night.. which means I get thirsty so drink more and end up peeing about 4 times a night. It's exhausting! Confused

I got a skin tag between my boobs Confused DS is 8 weeks old and it's still there. I didn't get a single stretchmark until the day after my due date then they just fucking exploded and they itch and they hurt. I think my weirdest was I felt like my teeth were made of polystyrene, it used to set me on edge to eat anything squeaky, I had halloumi when I was out for lunch and couldn't eat anything else after it because it made my teeth feel so weird

Sunbeam18 · 08/04/2017 21:30

Enormous thirst

thenewaveragebear1983 · 08/04/2017 22:32

I think the 'baby hair' is really interesting- I had loads of this and it still hasn't gone, but I thought my hair was just becoming really frizzy. Never occurred to me that they were new hair growing!

JonSnowsWhore · 08/04/2017 23:01

I don't know about weirdest but the most annoying is definitely this bloody itching! I've made my legs bleed tonight & it's still going, I think I'm going to throw myself out the window in a minute! ( & yes I will be getting the blood test on Monday to check it's nothing serious Smile)

Seriously losing the will to live tonight, I can't go back to sleep my skin is crawling 😫

SarahOoo · 09/04/2017 03:07
  • nose has got bigger (having a girl)
  • numbness in my first three fingers and thumb on both hands
  • top lip looks like I've had Botox
  • leg hair doesn't really grow (yay!)
  • nails are super strong and long (yay!)
  • early pregnancy had AWFUL constant bad taste in my mouth for WEEKS
  • super sensitive sense of smell (still have this at 40 weeks)
  • Robinsons Orange Squash makes me heave
iamreginaphalange · 09/04/2017 04:04

Mine are
Baby hair - everywhere especially around hair line - think troll doll!

Having very vivid dreams- waking up in tears as result... weird AF!

Food tastes in back of throat for food I hadn't eaten in months.... think runny egg it soft cheeses - double weird

Thirst - it's unreal

Apart from that it has been ok I guess ..Smile

Crusty blocked nose thing here too, and excessive night time thirstiness, hence awake at 4.39. Itching and restless legs, especially in the evenings. 38 weeks now and not as swollen up as last time but I am sure it will happen soon. Stretch marks starting to appear too. So glamorous!

Oops sorry. Stupid phone!

NameChange30 · 09/04/2017 04:45

My calves got really fat/wide and I couldn't do up my boots. That was depressing!

At one point my boobs were insanely itchy and it drove me mad.

I also had a constantly blocked/runny nose, which isn't exactly a pregnancy symptom you hear about (!) but based on this thread it sounds like a common one!

ChristmasAccountant · 09/04/2017 05:38

Post pregnancy here but my hair has turned curly and my feet have shrunk by a whole shoe size!

Jellybabie3 · 09/04/2017 09:18

Im at 16 weekd and have had the metallic drooly mouth too. And hiccups. ALL THE TIME.
