Pregnant but not pregnant 😢

Can anyone help me. I'm meant to be 7.5 weeks pregnant. From 4 weeks I have taken 5 home pregnancy tests, including one today, and all were positive. I went for an early scan yesterday as thought I was having a miscarriage, only to find out I'm not pregnant at all, nothing shown on the scan, and a negative urine pregnancy test there. Yet a home test today said pregnant. I know I'm not, I trust the hospital and the scans, and they said I had a chemical pregnancy, but why are the tests showing I am when I am not, and the hospital one showed that I'm not?
So confused and upset.

I'm afraid home pregnancy tests show a positive result when they detect hCG pregnancy hormones in your urine. These can stay in your system for a while after a miscarriage, which is probably why you are still getting positive tests. I'm sorry for your loss

Also regarding confusion over tests, some home pregnancy tests are more sensitive than the ones at hospital, which may be why the home tests are still picking up the last traces of hCG but your levels have probably dropped too low for the hospital test to detect.
