Petite Maternity Wear-any ideas?

Am only 5'1" and would love some nice skirts, dresses and shorts for the summer.

Has anybody got any ideas on where us shorties can get maternity clothes from?

My darling sister keeps telling me they have given out the hottest summer on record so don't want to be in my next maternity jeans all summer!

Hi there, I am tiny as well and struggled with nice pregnancy clothes. I went to next, as they do small jeans/ trousers, also H&M bought a couple of skirts, dresses & tops. Finally there is a website called reet petit they do limited maternity wear - mind you this was last summer. Hope that helps!

this shop is lovely!

next do petite

Agree Next is worth a go - their petite maternity trousers have a 27.5" inside leg, and Dorothy Perkins have 28".

Went to H&M last week for mat stuff but didn't see anything specifically petite - I have a 32"ish inside leg and their trousers fitted me perfectly so I suspect their stuff may be way long on you. Some nice skirts though.

Another vote for Next if you are near one. I tend to buy 3/4 length trousers as they are full length on me - some light linen ones would be nice.

I also bought a JoJoMamanBebe skirt off an MNer which is supposed to skim the knees - it comes midway down my calves but looks really nice on!

I was pregnant last summer and I only found petite mat clothing at Next.
I was soooooooo HOT! My advice is to get a couple of large sarongs, a paddling pool, a box of ice lollies and stay in the garden!

Thanks to everyone who suggested next, can only see petite trousers and jeans there though and was hoping for some skirts.......

Any more ideas gratefully received!

M&S also do maternity trousers for petite size.

Also topshop have a maternity section and I find they do a good range which fits my 5ft1inch height.

There are online shops like Isabella Oliver which have nice skirts (if you shop by body shape they list clothes suitable for petite ladies) Only drawback is that they are bit pricey like 50 pounds a skirt...

NEXT are great!

Have a look at La Redoute (online); they do size 6 and are inexpensive

Try Dorothy Perkins!
I'm 5.4 and i had a lot of my maternity clothes from there, they're great.

I'm only 5ft and got my pregnancy clothes from Next or Dotty P's. I don't do skirts generally, although I did get a dress from Next. How about cropped linen trousers? I also wore a pair of dh's elasticated waist shorts!! Topshop is also worth a look, or why not just get some of the longer smock tops that are in fashion at the mo? No need for maternity sizes there!
