I'm 6 weeks and 1day pregnant and really worried for some reason reading up other people's scans this early and then not finding a heart beat really makes me scared! I will be 6 weeks and 2 days for the scan I just hope everything goes alright. I think I'm really worried because with my little girl I never went for an early scan I went for my 12 weeks scan what if they don't find a heart beat just yet will I have to wait until the 12+ weeks or will they do one before😰 if they don't I will definitely have a private scan! Anyone know??

If they don't see a heartbeat Im sure they will get you back in 1-2 weeks for another look.
I had a scan at 6+4 and could see heartbeat, but it was measuring bahind my dates. Got another scan tonight which is a private one to see if things are progressing.

Hope it all goes well for you. If you are unsure of what the scan is showing and means make sure you ask them to explain as sometimes they just forget that we don't know as it isn't our expertise! Xx

I had a scan at 6+1 and no hb. They weren't concerned though as all was measuring fine for dates and said that's right on the cusp of when one is visible. 2 weeks later and it was there.

Thanks everyone I had my scan and was supposed to be measured I to 6 weeks and 2 days then I ended up measuring up to 4 weeks and 6 days so now I'm having another scan on the 19 and I will be measuring to 7weeks and 1 day but I think when I go to the scan they will say I'm a bit more than what your thought x
