33 weeks and pains!

Since yesterday evening I've been having sharp pains like period cramps in my abdomen as well as back ache when I get them I can't move! I've rang the hospital the the midwife I spoke to said it was completely normal and there's no need for me to be checked! Has anybody else had this ? I'm just a bit worried.

I had something similar with my first ... ended up I was severely constipated. I was on lying on the floor in pain. I also had pain like that leading up to labour - weeks in advance.

If you are worried about it, try calling up again as you'll likely get another midwife and can check with them too to get a second opinion.

I seconded ringing again if you are at all worried and tell them that you are worried. They can bring you in more mointoring to check baby's heart rate and to look for contractions.

Yeah the second midwife I spoke to told me to come on straight away so currently been checked over!
