Has anyone had BV and had a full term pregnancy?

My dr does not want to prescribe me antibiotics. Should I listen to him?
I'm 15 weeks

I've had them both pregnancies. This time was only a precaution because I was so anxious about MC that doc gave them to me anyway. Not sure why you wouldn't get them...?

Yeah I recently had BV, doctor checked thoroughly what ones I could and couldn't take and she prescribed me the one that is similar to thrush treatment (where you stick it up your vagina) as she didn't find one suitable to take orally for me. BV is common for women and best treated rather than ignored when in pregnancy as there is some (although not much) showing untreated BV can cause premature labour. Xx

Im 29wks and was recently prescribed antibiotics that treat BV, which was discovered on a swab. I hadn't noticed any symptoms, so it was a bit of a shock! All is fine and tbh, after researching it and reading about the risk of premature birth if untreated, i am glad i had them!
