Aaah sleep... remember that?

I'm 31+5 and my body is refusing to let me sleep. During the week I maybe get 2 hours a night, possibly. Weekends seem a bit easier, I had a few hours last night. By Wednesday/Thursday i'm a zombie and frankly a danger to myself and everyone around me! My MW suggested lavender stuff and herbal remedies which do absolutely balls all, chamomile tea makes me go to the toilet even more than I already do which is already just silly amounts, and hot baths make my pelvis feel like it's being ripped apart... so am I stuck? I use a pregnancy pillow already, and I've stopped using my phone past 10pm ish if I can to see if that helps. So far, not so good.

Have you tried pregnancy massage? I am 30+3 and having similar problems. I have a lady who comes to my house at about 9pm and I go straight to bed afterwards and have the best sleep. It is definitely a luxury though and I only do it every couple of weeks, but it's good in that it helps you catch up on some sleep every now and then!

I haven't, but I fear I'd keep her hostage if it worked, anyone that can send me to sleep would absolutely never be allowed to leave my sight.

My DD is 15 months and I've just sort of accepted that sleep isn't something that I do anymore.

I'm aware I'll never sleep again once the baby is here, but that's fine, I'll have a baby to look after and keep alive. As it is now, I have nothing other than an ever increasing arse and bags under my eyes! Plus the stupid shit I keep doing is going to end badly.

If you find the answer please share! I have been waking up at 3 and 5 every morning. After 5 it's hopeless trying to get back to sleep. Luckily I'm on maternity leave now so I'll hopefully be able to nap during the day.

Ds is 3 and Dd is 1. Dc3 likes to use my bladder as a squeeze toy in the middle of the night. Sleep is a very distant memory for me Shock

31+3 and pregsomnia has hit hard. I wake at 4.30am or so every night after traumatising dreams. Then dread work for a few hours before hauling myself up and slowly starting another tired day.

Bring on mat leave!!
