I am 39 weeks today. Dd is suddenly moving a lot int he last 2 hours or so, I also have a lot of Braxton hicks. She has been a what I would call a relaxed baby throughout pregnancy compare to my other two. Suddenly there is so much movement. I know we suppose to call the unit for decreased movement but what about increased movement?

Any change in the pattern of movement should be reported. I'd phone your labour ward.

Yes you are supposed to for increased movements too

Ok, thank you

Definitely.

A sudden increase in movement could be nothing to worry about but it could also indicate feral distress.

Get checked out. Let us know how you both are. I had to go in several times for this as well reduced movement with both of mine, it's very unnerving.

God I'm so sorry. Fetal/ foetal not feral......
