Cerezette (mini pill)

Hi all, I'm currently taking cerezette and have been taking it for around a year and a half and my periods have completely stopped. I may get one every now and again but not very often at all. Me and my partner really want to start trying for a baby and I wanted a little help and advice from others people's experiences. How long did it take to get pregnant when you came off cerezette ? I am very interested ☺ thanks ladies x

DD1, conceived 2 months after coming off and DD2 3 months. I was 36 for first pregnancy and 39 for second. Good luck

I conceived 3 months after coming of it.
My Dr said that after coming off the pill you have a hormone surge and it's a myth that you need it to come out of your system before trying for a baby. Good luck

Came off mid January, one period in mid February and the BFP in mid march. Was on it for 2 years.

It took me three months to get my periods back properly. Lots of pmt and cramps in those months.
But then pregnant the next month after proper periods back.

I came off cerrzette at the end of August and was pregnant by November.

I took my last pill on the 23rd of June last year, ovulated the 23rd of July and had my BFP the 6th of August!

Now 38 weeks pregnant and hugely round with baby!

Fertility comes back very quickly after you stop taking the mini pill!

I came off it and had a normal period then found out I was pregnant 2 weeks later wth my first D.C. And took me 10 weeks with second D.C.

About 3 months from stopping, but first month of not doing other things to prevent as I wanted to see if/when periods returned first, then 34

Nearly two years so totally different experience to everyone else! Probably nothing to do with cerazette, just me.
God I love not having periods and if I wasn't ttc again I'd be back on it.

Two months here, and I was on it for about 10years!

I also appreciated not having periods but do now wonder if it had anything to do with my depression since my moods are so much better, off meds, during the hormonal rollercoaster of pregnancy

First period 5 weeks after coming off it, and conceived after 4 months (although only 3 of ttc due to DH being away).

Arbrighton I 100% believe cerazette caused my depression and anxiety. I stopped taking it and the next day my anxiety had disappeared!

1st time I was pregnant before having I even had a period (lots of fun when people asked when my last period was and I said 2008!), This time it took 2 months. Good luck x

I was on it for years and years. Stopped taking it and got pregnant within 3 days. Obviously no period within that time. As with Katemeister it has caused a few raised eyebrows even with medical professionals when I have explained that I hadnt had a period for about 5+ years because of taking the pill constantly (low egg reserve so didnt ever break the cycle of taking them)

I took my last cerazette on the 12th February and had my first period on 22nd March, it was quite light only 2.5 days long. This is now our first month of trying so hopefully I will ovulate next week! I had been back on the pill for 21 months since the birth of my son. Similar time frame to when I came off yasmin travel him.

Stopped taking it on the 8th of October, never had a period.. Due mid July! x

I came off that pill to go on a new one, had a week break and fell pregnant! all worked out for the best however!! X

I stopped taking it because it was causing depression and I got pregnant about a week later

I was on it for 6 years. Came off it on Christmas Eve. Very light period end Jan and conceived 11th Feb x

I had no periods at all on cerazette and got pregnant pretty quickly.

Thank you all for your help :) I also have been having major anxiety and I'm wondering if it is due to this pill I am on. So hopefully when I come off it everything will be fine :)
