Chlamydia in pregnancy

Name changed for obvious reasons Blush

Had routine early sti screening in early pregnancy - all came back clear.

Had discharge a few weeks ago, got retested (precautionary - never expected to actually have an STI, expected it to be thrush/BV) and found out I have chlamydia. SadSadSad

Feel so disgusting and disgusted at dp. He denies giving it to me completely.

They gave me the treatment but I still can't help but be worried about it all.

I know it's a bit of a long shot but does anyone has any personal experience or knows anything about chlamydia in pregnancy? I'm so scared dc might have been effected somehow, either by the infection or by the treatment Sad

Hi, sorry that you are feeling anxious. Your baby will be fine, you have been treated properly and that's a good thing. Has your DP been tested and treated too though?
If you had a negative test a few months ago and a positive one now, then I would be questioning your DP very closely. Sorry.
