Contraction/tightening regular

Hi I am 38+3 with 3rd baby. For the past hour I noticed pretty strong tightening last about 45 seconds and 3-4 minutes apart they are not too painful. Should I get excited? Do something? My other 2 were a week late and on due date.

In the same boat tonight bellynelly. This is DC3 too! I'm 38 + 2 and am having tightenings plus sharp pains on my right side and movement very very low down around my bikini line.

I did go for a walk today and carried heavy shopping so it could just be that as the consultant told me I'd notice more tightenings after walking. I'd like it to be time too!

I've been having episodes like this on-and-off for the last two weeks (36-38 weeks). No sign of it developing into anything yet!
