I'm 38 and have 3 children already.

I tested today and got a positive, it's not planned I'm on the pill.

My husband wants another, so I don't think it will be a problem, but I'm not telling him for another few weeks as he has a very stressful month coming up and I don't want to add any more pressure!

I'm hoping to get support on here instead, and am hoping there's some other older mum's like me Grin

Congrats!

Not long turned 40 & not long found out I'm pregnant with my first.

My mum was in her late 30s when she had me & I reckon I turned out okay (!) so I'm trying to keep that sort of positivity at the front of my mind.

Am sure you'll get plenty of support here. I'm reading and learning all the time!

x

39 and expecting DC2. A bit worried about how I'll manage with a newborn and a toddler, but that's nothing to do with age and everything to do with knowing how bad the sleep deprivation was last time Confused

Congratulations. I'm 39 and have an 8 week old. My 2nd baby with a 19 year age gap inbetween. This one was a lovely surprise! (I thought I had early menopause)

Enjoy it all. I was a lot more tired than I was first-time round but still worth it.

I'm 36 and just pregnant with #3 (my other dc are 13 & 10) bit of a shock! My periods had been all over, doc is being quite negative at the moment though, as no fetal pole or HB seen at 6 weeks and my bloods are increasing but not doubling...(39500 & 47500 over 2 days)...so I'm tentatively waiting for my 2nd scan tomorrow.

24deedee · 29/03/2017 08:05

Congrats everyone! I'm 42 and found out last week, am 5 weeks 2 days with my second... trying to take each day as it comes at the minute to get through the 12 weeks... did another clear bluedigital this morning which is now 2-3 weeks so that's reassured me for today at least...

Sham7863 · 29/03/2017 10:18
