I ran into some family members I hadn't seen in a while and they were like oh you don't even look pregnant from behind, mil was saying you were out to here indicating I was not only huge but wide but your not your neat. I'm actually lost for words.

My mum said "oh, you don't want a water birth do you?" When I replied that yes, I am thinking about it, she said "oh, I've read about babies drowning I water births, and it's not natural is it". Hmm

This thread has cheered me up! So sick of comments. I'm 28 weeks and for every person who tells me I look big another says I look small. I try not to let it bother me but it's not helpful when I have my first growth scan this week!

My favourite though was when I said DH can go for a night out with his mate, 5 mins down the road from our flat a month after the baby is born. Apparently I won't won't him to and I'm being optimistic! I really hope I can cope for one evening after a month Confused

As soon as I found out I was pregnant my MIL would ask me EVERY DAY what I ate for lunch. It drove me mental - like I had to report back or couldn't be trusted to eat a healthy lunch. Two weeks in I just rolled my eyes at DH in response to her and she got the hint.

I say yes sometimes four even five.....
