Hi everyone

Have just joined and I'm a bit desperate for some words of support.

I have a 5yo dd. I fell pregnant last year all was well symptoms suddenly faded and had kept saying something was wrong throughout the pregnancy. Went to hospital due to few red spots they scanned me four days later and baby had died at 9.5 weeks (I was 11 weeks by that point). That was in March.

In May, i fell pregnant again and miscarried at approx 8 weeks in June. By the time they scanned me there were only clots left :(

In December I went to my home country Dr said I had pcos in my left ovary, I also found out I have impaired glucose tolerance.

Went to see my Gp and they scanned me later, confirmed the diagnosis though I then had pcos in both ovaries.

Last month I didn't feel like I ovulate at all, my temps were low.

A few days ago, I took a pregnancy test and it was possible. I took clearblue on Thursday and it said 2-3 weeks. My lmp was 19 Feb and my cycles used to be 32 days with o on day 18. After my second mc they went all over the place.

Anyway, I went to see a Dr privately yesterday as I was hoping for some progesterone to support the pregnancy.

He scanned me and although he said I had thickened uterus lining (quite thickened in fact) nothing could be seen. He said he could not comment further.he simply stated he couldn't see a pregnancy there.

I am devastated, although my temps are 37.2 still my breasts have gone from tender to floppy (if you know what I mean) and I am absolutely terrified I'm about to have another miscarriage.

Has anyone been through something similar and everything was ok?

Thanks

D xxxx

Hiya I went for a scan today after getting a positive few tests they couldn’t see anything but put it down as PUL (pregnancy of unknown location) i am really worried as anyone ever been through this before and had a positive outcome I had a miscarriage on the 22nd of June so hoping this is my rainbow baby thanks in advance x

Danilouise20 · 19/07/2023 13:04

I had my hgc levels done yesterday which come back as 41 is that normal for around 2-3 Weeks

moosey89 · 19/07/2023 13:06

@Danilouise20 did you check you got a negative test after your miscarriage?

Danilouise20 · 19/07/2023 13:07

Hiya yes I had negatives and doctors confirmed by hgc x

moosey89 · 19/07/2023 13:10

That's good - and do you know when you ovulated? It sounds like it's an incredibly new pregnancy if you only miscarried 4 weeks ago! You definitely wouldn't see anything on scans at this stage. I'd say hold tight and go for another scan in around 3 weeks (when you'd be 7 ish weeks) then you will know. You could take another test in a few days as reassurance :)

Danilouise20 · 19/07/2023 13:15

No sadly I don’t know due to me miscarrying the only bleed I had was when loosing the baby, which I didn’t know that would make me release more eggs and ovulate, but midwife’s had said that it is classed as a period as it releases eggs etc, so off the midwife’s my last period was the 22 June which is when I lost the baby, it’s very weird as I never knew this was even possible x

BudgetBuster · 19/07/2023 14:02

@Danilouise20 As this is a new pregnancy, you actually wouldn't even be 4 weeks until tomorrow based on LMP. Given you would have only conceived probably 2 weeks ago, and then a few days to implant there's no way anything would show on a scan at this stage. I'd give it at least another 2 weeks before another scan before you'll really see anything. Congratulations

My pregnancy tests are getting stronger and I find out if my hgc has doubled or not today so fingers crossed everything is going well🤞
