I found out I was pregnant a few days ago, I had 2 miscarriages last year and I'm so scared! I can't imagine myself having another baby soon, is this normal or is this some sort of sign that something will go wrong?! Please someone reply Sad

It's normal to be scared and worried even without your history. x

I feel like everything is going okay, I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard when I just can't imagine myself having another baby.. Is that normal for early pregnancy? I can't remember feeling like this with my little boy xx

Totally normal. I had a MMC last year and was terrified when I found out I was pregnant again and it's only now at almost 31 weeks that I can finally imagine myself having a baby. I had a reassurance scan offered to me at 7 weeks, another at 11 weeks. Then had my 12 week scan, another reassurance at 16 weeks, my 20 week scan and a private at 26 weeks. My maternity unit are great so it's worth checking with yours whether they will offer a reassurance scan. I also never felt like this when pregnant with my daughter.

I was in the same position as you and now 26w :) I felt the same as you at the beginning of this pregnancy, probably our brains trying to shut down the love for the baby just in case :) glad we're both doing ok :)

This is lovely to read. Currently about 7 weeks with 3rd pregnancy after 2 consecutive mc's. Feeling exactly the same as you described originally so it's nice to read a happy outcome and I'm so pleased everything is going well for you x
