I am 20 weeks pregnant, i had my scan on monday and everything is ok with the baby.Tomorrow i have an appointment with the consultant because i am overweight.the midwife has told me not to worry as im low risk and its something they have to do.i really dont want to go just to hear that im fat.Does anyone know what he will say and do??thanks

Never heard of them doing this before.
Any other clues as to what they might do?
Sounds a bit odd to be honest particularly if you are low risk otherwise,

my midwife said its just like an appointment with her he will check my bp and wee but she didnt know what else.

TBH, sounds a bit OTT, I think just view it as a midwife review and see how it goes.

Probably talk about increased risk of things like diabetes and dvt. So discuss diet, things to look ot for.
