Has anyone else had reactions to pregnacare?! I know it's only vitamins but my heart felt like it's racing all the time and I found it hard to catch my breath I feel like my heart is beating extra hard. I stopped taking pregnacare for 3 days and these symptoms disappeared and I felt so much better. I thought this was just a coincidence but when restarted the pregnacare all symptoms came back, also the nausea and sickness was terrible on them. I've stopped taking them and feel so much better. It's been about 3 weeks without them now and I've started to get migraines this one has lasted 3 days urghh sorry for the whingy rant it's exhausting this pregnancy malarkey!

Best to talk to your midwife about it. I did find my sickness increased straight after taking them, sometimes I couldn't keep them down, but I got used to it. I don't think you should try to get used to a racing heart or breathlessness though. Maybe try a different brand or just take folic acid supplements x

Thank you for replying 😊 i have an appointment with the specialists on Monday so I'm going to not take the vitamins I'm past the 12 weeks now so sure it's fine and just ask about the migraines I'm just shocked if it is the vitamins that caused those symptoms as I felt absolutely awful or whether it was just a coincidence. I will ask about migraines too whether this is probably hormones but just as I was feeling so much better the migraines have started! Well at least the nausea has improved and palpitations n breathless has stopped as that was pretty scary!

Pregnecare made me sick as a dog 😭. I took all my vitamins separately and that made me feel loads better.

I didn't get on well with Pregnacare, I switched to Centrum pregnancy multivit instead which I found much better
