Ok this is a stupid question, but Ive realised that I can suck in my 30 week bump and make myself look half as pregnant - begging the question, am I really meant to be this big, or is it my slack muscles? this is my first so I will be horrified if it means its just the fact im completely out of shape ( like I never knew that before )

aahhhh x

quelle coincidence! I was doing exactly the same thing at 35 weeks pregnant, today in the bathroom mirror: I too can suck my bump in to look half as pregnant! I can't do it for long though. Probably is slack tummy muscles, but I'm buggered if I'm going to worry about that on top of everything else.

No - def doesn't suck in at 34+ weeks - but do look smaller in the mornings compared to evenings!

I thought this said 'can you suck in your bum?'

A few weeks back I could suck it in a little, so I looked slightly less pg, and I did wonder if it was just due to my slack stomach muscles, but now (37 wks) it really hurts to suck it in at all. Anyway, no one will notice the excess fat once I have given birth; they'll be too busy staring at my stretch marks!
