Due date put back two weeks at 12 week scan.

Hi everyone.
I had what I thought was my 12 week scan today (estimated i was 12 +4) and was told the baby was only measuring at 10 weeks. There was a heartbeat and they never said anything was wrong just to book in for another scan. Obviously I've gone into panic mode and wondering if anyone has any experience of this and how it affected the pregnancy? This is my first pregnancy so not sure if I'm just worrying over nothing

Same happened with me with my second. As the pregnancy went on baby started measuring "big" and there was lots of concern over gestational diabetes (didn't have it) and talk of inducing at due date etc etc. Ended up having DD at 37 weeks. Perfectly normal size. I still believe my first scan was wrong but either way as long as baby is healthy it's all just estimates anyway. Good luck and congratulations
