Hi all
I'm on day 36 of what is usually a very regular 28-30 day cycle. I have not come on yet (although am feeling like I should have done) but have taken 3 negative pregnancy tests. Really unsure if I'm just late or not? Has this happened to anyone? Having bad "period" migraines and a very low, central ache in my stomach, kind of like period pains, but have had this since I was expecting to come on over a week ago..
do you think it's possible to get a negative test even though pregnant or am I just wishful thinking?
Thank you xx

I'd test again in a week xx

Yeah as PP said test again in a week.

Sometimes really simple things like a bit of extra anxiety or a change of diet can delay a period.

Or on the other hand you might just not be producing enough hormones yet for the tests to work, especially if all three tests were the same brand.

Sorry it's just a waiting game for you 😕 x

Definitely do another test/tests. But I'd go for the cheap Poundland ones - save yourself a fortune! To be 6 days late I can't imagine it being anything else if you are very regular. It's possible to get a false negative but not possible to get a false positive! I was 8 days late and got 5 very strong positives lol.
Always do the test with your first morning urine stream! That way isn't not diluted. Don't drink a lot before taking the test. Maybe just give it a couple more days for the HCG to build a little. Let us know how you get on x

It's perfectly possible to have negative results from a pregnancy test. False positives don't tend to happen.

Thank you all. Yeah it's 5 weeks today since my last period and I keep thinking it's starting and running to check! Maybe will keep an eye out for a couple of days and check again!
I've actually heard the cheap ones are the most accurate! Smile
