For you, lots of food at home including hearty meals in the freezer?

GreenGoblin0 · 20/03/2017 17:04

-Big knickers in case you have c section
-flip flops for shower

  • fitted sheets for moses basket
  • snacks
  • lansinoh cream for nipples

In addition to your list,
Straws, made it easier to drink post c section
Eight bottles of lucozade sport, amazing post recovery
Your own pillow
Lots and lots and lots of breakfast bars, both in your bag and in the house. I think I mostly lived on them for weeks.
I also second the meals in the freezer, we had a week worth of beef stew in the freezer which was worth its weight in gold.
Maybe an eye mask for sleeping in the hospital?

Have fitted sheets sorry forgot to write that, also have big knickers the meals thing will be sorted as me and hubby such plain eaters anyway DM is going to be very helpful. The breakfast bars is a great idea for a quick snack never thought of that.! Thanks also must purchase nipple cream

Wet toilet tissue, a must after stitches!

You're taking a lot of stuff!

Jessiecat27 · 20/03/2017 21:19

I've heard lip balm is a must!

A drink bottle with a straw so DH can offer it and you can drink without the effort of tilting your head whilst on labour.

Hot water bottle - I found it amazing on my lower back when in the depths of contractions.
