Telling employer I'm pregnant

I've just told my employer I'm pregnant (12 weeks) and she has asked me to write a letter and give her a copy of my mat B1 when I get it...

What do I write in this letter? Maternity leave and all things like this haven't been decided yet so I can hardly write a letter saying "dear HR,
I'm pregnant
Kind regards itswasntme"

Please help x

Yes, you can write that. It's just for HR and they'll probably give you a pack of info about maternity leave and safe working while pregnant. They should also do a risk assessment too.

I found a letter template online, if you haven't yet decided on mat leave then just put that in the letter.

I wouldnt be so sure wifey, it's a tiny office where nothing ever gets done without a bucket load of chasing up and reminding! I'll be lucky if I ever get a pack even though there's been 2 pregnancies in the last 2 years 😂 we'll see...

Ahh thanks anxious I don't suppose you could post the link please that would be really helpful
