A Show or not?

I'm 36 weeks pg.
over the last few days I've been having lots of thick white discharge that is quite sticky and stringy.
Today I've had the same discharge but also some pinky colour discharge as well.
I'm not in any pain at all, but I do feel a little sore internally...
(I haven't had sex or anything recently)
Is this a show or am I just imagining it?
If it is a show - how long have I got?

I would say yes it's a show. Can be weeks, I had one with ds2 about 32 weeks and again from 36 weeks ane he was born at 39 weeks.

It's a show, and I won't tell you how long I was losing mine for, but for most people labour is normally less than 2 weeks away after the show.

show can be mucousy , snotty and stringy or a big lump

I had a low lying placenta but apparently this has rectified itself!

So i can't even guess how long it will be??? that is a nightmare!

okey doke ! good the placenta has moved, hard to say, but a normal pregnancy is anywhere between 37 - 42 weeks, so how long is a piece of string !

Trying to explain to the midwife why I wasn't able to stop giggling at her sniffing my knickers whilst in the throws of labour wasn't my idea of jolly good fun!!!

Cath, stick with Lulu and the rest of the girls that will flock as soon as a sniff (Geddit?!!!) of labour is mentioned, they will get you through it
