Hi

I am 35 weeks pregnant and an old whiplash injury has decided to crop up again and pull one of my ribs out of place, I also feel like ive been kicked in the groin on the same left side as the rib! Has anyone had experience of going to the Osteopath when pregnant?....

Hi I've been going, but I was only in first trimester. As far as I know, some osteopaths have special benches with a hole for the bump so that you may still lie on your tummy for the treatment. Wish you a speedy recovery.

I was treated for back problems throughout my 3rd pregnancy. Absolutely no problem as they will not do anything which is likely to compromise the pregnancy.

Fantastic! Thanks everyone for their input, I feel a lot better knowing that this seems to be the 'norm'. Im just waiting to speak with the clinic to make sure they are ok with treating me and then im off to get put back in line again!!
